Regarding the situation with busgirl.  
The Internet, as usual, is entirely unhelpful.

Going to see a movie today. Girls don't make moves like guys, girls moves are all crazy and psychological. Ogod what if she pays for everything again? This is an ideal date scenario but I HAVE NO IDEA. Ehhhh, she doesn't seem to have any friends either. If I don't call her, she'll get too shy and never call. This is the karmic equivalent to that whole six months of being in denial of being dating Alton, which only fell into place the time he tried to kiss me. Oh ambiguous homosexuality, will you ever cease haunting me?!

How to tell if your "how to tell" person is an ignorant sack of shit pretending to be knowledgeable:

* Makes stereotypical statements about people in a well-meaning way.

* Does not know enough to tell truth from lies, and is too lazy to check facts.

* Believes no one would ever make up lies about other people, and so repeats blatant lies as fact.

* Sub-consciously knows they are being idiots.

* Makes sure to have at least one anti-stereotype statement in their list to save face should someone call them on their ignorance.
