Seeking protection, for the one I love.

It burns; it's supposed to burn.
That's how I know I'm strong.

I do not think you can find completion in another person; it's something from the outside.

There is no completion. There is only temporary satisfaction, small midnight snacks to soothe the starving animal inside you—but only for a moment. Whether the thing it desires is internal or external, inside or out, the human soul will always yearn for that which is outside of its grasp. The hunger you feel will never, ever go away, not for as long as you live. That's the price we pay for our dreams. It is also the thing that drives us forward.
